Terms & Conditions – Lion Boots

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern all purchases made on the website www.lionboots.com (the “Site”), operated by Lion Boots, located at 10 rue de la Paix, 75002 Paris, France, registered under SIREN number 922141440. By placing an order, the customer (“Customer”) agrees to these Terms without reservation.

2. Products

Lion Boots offers men’s footwear sourced from third-party suppliers under a dropshipping model. Product descriptions, images, and specifications are provided for reference only. Minor variations may occur depending on the supplier.

3. Prices

All prices are listed in euros (€), inclusive of applicable VAT. Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on the delivery address. Lion Boots reserves the right to modify prices at any time. The applicable price is the one displayed at the time of order confirmation.

4. Orders

An order is confirmed once payment is successfully processed. The Customer receives an email confirmation with order details. Lion Boots reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order in cases of suspected fraud, pricing or description errors, or product unavailability.

5. Payment

Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, and other options offered via Shopify Payments. Payment is due at the time of order. If payment is declined, the order will be automatically cancelled.

6. Shipping

Products are shipped directly by partner suppliers. Estimated delivery times range from 2 to 5 business days following the 6 to 25 days of production lead time, depending on destination and supplier. Lion Boots ships throughout the European Union. A tracking number is provided once the order is dispatched.

7. Right of Withdrawal

Order Cancellation & Right of Withdrawal

Each pair of boots is produced specifically for the Customer following order confirmation.

Cancellation Before Production

Customers may request a cancellation only before the production process has begun.

  • The production order is automatically initiated within 12 hours of order confirmation.

  • Any cancellation request must therefore be submitted within this 12-hour window.

No Cancellation After Production Has Started

Once the production order has been launched, the order can no longer be cancelled, modified, or refunded.

In accordance with Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer’s specifications or whose production has already begun at the Customer’s request.

By placing an order, the Customer expressly acknowledges and accepts that:

  • production may begin within 12 hours of order confirmation, and

  • once production has started, the Customer loses the right to cancel or withdraw from the contract, except in cases of proven non-conformity or error attributable to us.

We therefore strongly encourage Customers to carefully review all order details (model, size, options) before completing their purchase.

8. Returns & Refunds

We want you to be fully satisfied with your new boots.
 If the fit is not suitable, Lion Boots offers a voluntary return policy, allowing Customers to return their order at their own costs within 14 days of receipt, subject to the conditions below.

This return policy is a commercial gesture and does not constitute a statutory right of withdrawal under EU consumer law.

How to Make a Return

To ensure a smooth and professional handling of your return, we use a dedicated DHL collection point.

Return conditions:

  • The boots must be unworn, undamaged, and returned in “as-new” condition

  • Returned in their original box with all original contents

  • Returns sent via other carriers will not be accepted

Proof of Shipment

Customers must retain the tracking number and shipping receipt until the return has been fully processed.

Approved refunds are issued using the original payment method, within 7 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned item.

  • If the Product was purchased using a discount code or promotional bundle, the refund will reflect the adjusted value paid

  • Discount codes used are not refunded but may be reissued for future use

9. Liability

Lion Boots acts as an intermediary between Customers and suppliers. It cannot be held liable for supplier-related issues (e.g., delays, defects), except in cases of proven fault. In any dispute, Lion Boots’ liability is limited to the value of the affected order.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site (text, images, logos, trademarks) is protected by intellectual property laws. Any reproduction without prior consent is strictly prohibited.

11. Personal Data

Personal data is collected for order processing, account management, and marketing communications. Data is handled in compliance with the GDPR. For details, see our Privacy Policy.

12. Force Majeure

Lion Boots shall not be liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond its control (e.g., strikes, pandemics, transport disruptions, natural disasters).

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, jurisdiction lies with the courts of the Customer’s place of residence or, failing that, the Commercial Court of Paris.
